It hasn’t received as much attention, but a Supreme Court ruling last week basically break the process by which the federal government responds to public comments in *any* process — which means it will take *longer* to permit new clean energy or new infrastructure. heatmap.news/climate/supr...

New from me: The Supreme Court — in addition to granting Trump broad immunity — is slowly breaking the EPA, eroding its ability to write new climate rules, respond to public comments, and punish companies that pollute the air and drinking water. heatmap.news/climate/supr...

My latest at @heatmap.news , on how aggressive climate action is now woven into the Democratic agenda at all levels. For instance, all the Dem governors mentioned as successors - Whitmer, Newsom, Pritzker, Shapiro - are moving strongly on climate (though Shapiro a little less so).

Another great @emilypont.bsky.social piece. With carbon removal gaining traction in climate policy & voluntary carbon markets, there's no agreement on what that term means. Life-cycle assessments kinda make sense -would eliminate CCS for corn ethanol - but what about enhanced rock weathering?
