People talk about how socialists and anarchists want us to live without any luxuries or joys in order to slow production for ecological reasons but you might not have an idea of the SHEER MAGNITUDE of what we make now that's simply thrown into the trash.
Mountains of unused food - animals slaughtered in the million for no purpose whatsoever, vegetables tilled into the ground, food thrown in dumpsters and covered in bleach. Hills of pristine electronics, never used but designed to break, expensive clothing torn to shreds so the poor can't wear it.
Apartments erected then everyone evicted so they can sit empty for landlords to hope to collect on rising rents while the people are prevented from going home by the pigs. Fields plowed under, the animals killed, ecosystem demolished for rapidly decaying strip malls in middle american wastelands.
MOST OF IT IS GARBAGE.
