I know they get rolled all the time but for the Times to get rolled by “actually they just want to reclaim the values of Western civilization as they see it … with larger families and fewer immigrants” is the Times putting the 14 words in the paper
A hopeful fantasy. Too many inevitably absorb their values and propagate them while insisting they “turned out fine”. Even if they reject parts of the ideology, large portions still become etched in stone inside them forever. They are children. That’s how it works.
It was sarcasm. There are a lot of groups out there who aren't specifically Nazis but who hold the same kind of beliefs about immigration and white supremacy. Hence the comment about "other eugenicist groups"
