Or maybe, and hear me out here, it's because six days ago they signed a giant research project for Parkinson's that they've been working on since last year.

There's a lot of comments on the Times' report. And even they admitted that one of the visits was a family tour of the White House. bsky.app/profile/nyti...
Breaking News: A Parkinson’s expert visited the White House eight times in eight months from last summer through this spring, according to official visitor logs. The administration has said that President Biden has no signs of the disease.

What matters though is an official explanation.

No, what matters is that the alleged paper of record published this without once mentioning that, for the entire “eight month period” the administration was working with Congress on crafting Parkinson’s legislation and that maybe, just maybe, that might be the explanation.

“Maybe” isn’t good enough.

“Maybe” is what the fucking article is doing in the first place and it’s irresponsible as fuck that they ran with “maybe”!

Yeah I don’t like what the NYT is doing either, but it happened, he met with Biden’s physician, and we should get an answer. “But the New York Times” doesn’t cancel that out.

Uh, no, what I’m saying is that it’s fucking journalistic malpractice to run this without waiting for comment from the White House, and they know exactly what the fuck they’re doing.

That’s fair. But we still need that comment, journalistic malpractice or not. And for the record, I fucking hate The New York Times, for this and other things.

No, *we* don’t need that comment. THEY needed that comment, to publish this article in the first place without being lying bastards.
