There is no economy ever where a Black person can do this.

there are so many black professionals having to walk on eggshells across social media that the idea of "community" itself has become more performative than the connections we actually make with one another.

there is so little trust among allies... and when one of us posts a hot take on a specific subject, the 1st one to refeame it "wins" — wrong or right doesnt matter. a mob will always want what a mob always wants. black history is littered with this fact.

None of them care about community or had a game plan to support him should he leave. What fail safes did they have should he do such a thing and then couldn’t land another job because Black outspoken ppl like that are anathema? What financial support were they willing to give? Absolutely nothing.
