They were really popular in the late 90s here, it was so weird when she started making the news, especially since another brand is "Micron" 😜
I am using Micron!! XD Though as the old Swiss I am, I am mostly faithful to Caran d’Ache and Faber Castell. ^^
I don't know that I've encountered Caran d'Ache here in the US, but Faber Castell is generally awesome ✨
I must have been ahead of my time, I was using them to take class notes in high school in the late 80s. I have no idea how I found them.
Iirc correctly, I always got mine at Dick Blick or another art store.
I had to have found them at the rubber stamping store I haunted, or a Michaels, I don’t think I stepped foot in a real art supply store for another 10 years at least!
