Instagram makes no sense. Post yesterday has nearly 18k likes and reached 65k accounts... but I LOST followers?? I don't care about the numbers, I just wish I understood how it all works 😅😅
Not that I was going to join Threads anyway, but Instagram pushing snippets like this on my feed has reaffirmed my decision. How can there be so many things wrong with a single post
I've made a Cara account to take my usual username but, to be honest, I don't have the energy to start again on yet another app. Feels like a futile uphill battle at this point.
Just realised Etsy takes almost 20% of my income there BEFORE expenses and tax which is absolutely wild. Honestly looking forward to leaving the platform at this point.

and data theft.... it feels like the end of social media in its current form. Something is definitely going to change and us artists will have to adapt if we want to retain our livelihoods.
