i have to confess something. i have never, ever not once used chatgpt for anything and its literally unimaginable to me that anyone would. people everywhere whose taste and opinions i would normally trust will be like "yeah i use it for x" why? what would compel you to do that? don't answer this
like, you do what? go there and ask it a question? about what? i guess i get it as like a way to generate text but it's extremely obvious and half the time it fucks it up or just straight up lies
idk i just ask my questions to google and then use my critical thinking skills to identify a credible source and then verify it against other credible sources. but okay
It's a website and it's really only useful as a toy, like jandling keys. People who say "I use it for serious reasons" so far have just done worse than if they did the work themselves. Too much work required to error check
I ran some ai stuff locally on my computer while I was researching it for an article (which was about why using AI makes people unhireable so don't use it) and did make an image of Joe Biden and Gritty smoking a blunt, but chatgpt refuses to do this
