So many great families in Deep Space 9, it's impossible for me to choose a favourite! The Ferengi family, the O'Briens, even Dukat and his daughter 🖖! Excellent!

I never cared for the character of his daughter. I just found her flat and boring as a character.

On the face of it I agree, but I like that she is half Cardassian and half Bajoran. She is both a reminder of the warcrimes committed on Bajor but also someone who yearns for conciliation of both worlds (Kira and Dukat). I also relate to her feeling of not fitting in anywhere.

A lot more could've been done with Ziyal's duality

She remind me of a lot of some of the other borning side characters that we thankfully either forgotten or killed off, looking at you Vedek Bareil.

Oh my gosh Vedek Bareil was boring! There some Minister that Kira was in a relationship who was also really boring 😄!
