Emerence: When I completed safety training at a mine site the teacher began with “everything on this list has happened” & then told us no fistfights, no stealing, no making threats, no bringing weapons to work - for that he specified “that means no knives, guns, or brass knuckles.”

mandatory univ. training modules are not a waste of time at all. I've learned a lot of useful life lessons from it.

I assume that all of these things have happened, so view our training as a sort of window into the murky depth of a university’s soul.

I suppose there are people out there who take this training and say "I had no idea ...". I may not be the target demographic that they're really trying to reach.
