really don’t like any of the US Godzilla movies. the Brian Cranston one is okay and that’s kind of it
I have a pretty decent tolerance for this shit but finally watched the new Godzilla x Kong and it was one of the worst pieces of dog shit I’ve seen a while. Wowzer

TV show is supposed to be good

First couple of episodes were REALLY good, then it fell immediately into underwritten yet over-expository nothingness. IN MY OPINION.

exactly this. First three or so are really great. Next three are just ok. By the end it's confoundingly bad (and i like a lot of the "Monsterverse" lol)

I'll say it's better than many of the recent movies. But it's not good.

It is not. The CGI looks bad and seems like they tried to limit monster screen time to save money.

The Godzilla universe is big enough that there’s something for everyone in it. The US ones are less serious, more spectacle. I love them all and enjoyed the heck out of Monarch!

I enjoyed the Cranston one but only made it half an our into the sequel, in which eco-terrorist villains try to take control of another giant monster. What a weird choice.

I enjoyed both the first Godzilla with Cranston for is moodiness and Kong-skull Island as a fun war movie with kaiju, but the following movies went downhill extremely fast after that. I think Monarch was good mostly because of the cast, it does lose steam by the end of the season.

I rather liked the 2014 Cranston Godzilla - I think they more or less nailed it. The others have not been so good
