Is there any better feeling in hobbying than when you look at a thirty year-old sprue and go “I should probably get rid of this, I’m never going to need three 1992 stockless lasguns” but then you don’t and then a couple of years later THAT’S EXACTLY THE BIT YOU NEED?
Every now and again I find myself in the former situation and compromise by taking the parts off the sprue and keeping them in a little bag or tin or something until the inevitable latter situation.
Apropos, does anyone know if GW's sprue-recycling programme accepts the ones from the RTB01 set...?
