Another fun fact: Pillen was the hand-selected successor to former governor Pete Ricketts, who once ran for senator and lost. He was term-limited as gov, but lucky for him! His buddy Ben Sasse vacated the seat just as he was leaving the governor's mansion. www.cnn.com/2023/01/12/p...
