I no longer make vinegar for a living, but I still retain much vinegar related knowledge. Probably isn't too useful, but such is life.

Dragonfruit Update: Second blossom! Two more buds are already forming on another vine, if all produce fruit well have our most successful year yet.

Final thoughts on the Rolling Stones: They are very old men, I hope they have personal trainers and a medical team caring for them on this tour because they look to be one misstep from death. Show was fun, very well put together.

Dragonfruit Update: First bloom of the season! Hopefully we’ll get a fruit from it.

The Linda Lindas were great! Since we’re already here, I guess we’ll stay for these “Rolling Stones” guys.

At SOFI arena to catch a Linda Lindas concert and they have all these weird lip graphics up on the screens.

Warhammer Update: two more Novitiates painted. I wrapped them up thinking “boy these paint up quick”; but then looked at the clock and saw that actually they took 2hrs a pop. Painting is zen for me, I just enter my own world while doing it.

If you see this you have to post a picture from your phone but don’t explain it.

Alas! Once again I came up just short of winning the monthly Twilight Imperium game. I was running Naalu this time around, and was two influence short of buying the 2 VP mission.

Warhammer Update: Two more novitiates completed. Their leather armor works in the color scheme of my army, but I miss the sparkle of Vallejo gunmetal blue. Also, the duelist doesn’t even get a power sword. Very sad.

"Okie-dokie!" No matter the seriousness of the event. Routine warp drive order: "Okie-dokie", Jettison the warp core "Okie-dokie", a klingon warbird decloaks and starts blasting the shit out of my ship "Okie-dokie".
If you were a Starfleet captain what would your catchphrase ("engage", "hit it", "make it so" etc) be?

Warhammer Update: Finished up the first of my Novitiates kill team, this is the only model in power armor so I’ve got to get a bit inventive with the rest of the unit’s color scheme.

It's been just over a week since our sweet dog Guava passed. She had been sick for a while, but her passing was so much more sudden than either me or Linda were prepared for. It's just devastated the both of us. The time we have here is limited, make the best use of every day you get.

I spent my Juneteenth holiday building my next Warhammer painting project (Sisters Novitiates) and building ikea furniture. One activity was relaxing, the other involved me splitting my lip on sheet metal.

Greyhawk? GREYHAWK? Sloooowly I turned ... "The pick-up-and-play ethos carries forward into the Dungeon Master’s Guide (2024) including a campaign setting for the first time, with players able to immediately jump into Greyhawk — Gary Gygax’s first Dungeons & Dragons setting — right from the book."
With the 2024 Core Rulebooks, Dungeons & Dragons is finally trying to get out of its own waywww.polygon.com Will this be a nat-20 or a critical failure? We can’t wait to play and find out
