This is whether it is intended or not a really flippant and racist way to talk about the home of 2,300,000 people who are now displaced and without shelter as a result of weapons that were made in the United States.
And I do not think it is clever to say "it could be worse" or "part of being the hegemonic power is cosigning bad things sometimes". These are things you tell yourself to feel better and I am not interested in making you people feel better at all.
This shit doesn't make them feel better at all.
It makes them feel justified for supporting their President.
They don't feel bad about the genocide so they don't need to feel better over the deaths of people they don't value.
People like this just want to feel more moral and ethical and justified.
