Went to a clinic today for a routine medical thing and was once again amazed by the number of people who are happy to hang out and just freely breathe in all the air juice inside the germ emporium
When I was a kid, the pediatrician's office had a separate "Isolation Entrance" for patients who were sick with contagious things, but since the MMR and chicken pox vaccines came out, there's been a lot less routine contagious disease.
Except, of course, the ever-present cold
my mom hated that we had winter birthdays so our annual checkups meant a cold or strep right after, from the waiting room
