Breast Cancer Update…3? I’m going to pat myself on the back for a moment because I’ve been doing a great job keeping my runaway brain from going too far off-track with worry and fear and terror of the unknown these past three weeks. Until this week. This week was no bueno.

I’ve been watching the Planet of the Apes TV series from 1974 and it’s actually a lot of fun.

Had a wonderful day at the @ButlerAreaToyS They always put on an amazing event and some of the nicest vendors and organizers around! Found some awesome treasures from Star Wars, Wheeled Warriors, Centurions, Starcom and Shogun Warriors! Fun fun fun morning 💜

Ordered a Castle Grayskull trap door rug for our toy room, but I’m afraid it’s already been claimed by the boss.

Breast cancer update: Met with my team today and I’m VERY lucky to have such a wonderful group behind me 💕 Aside from anemia my bloodwork is good. Blood pressure is high, but considering the circumstances that’s no surprise.

Dragon Riders of the Styx was a line of fantasy-themed 3-3/4 inch figures produced by Dimensions for Children in 1983. I remember having a few of these in my toy box and their strange, occult-looking demons and creatures stuck with me as very unique and cool.

Spoke to my nurse and admin lead and they haven’t heard back from scheduling for my mammogram and CT scan. Everyone assures me I don’t need to worry until there’s definitively something to worry about. But not knowing is the biggest worry of all! Ack!

Update on my breast lump and my doctor's appointment earlier this week. My bloodwork is back and, unfortunately, nothing in that can really say whether or not I have cancer. They ran a huge battery of tests to check my overall health, which is surprisingly (to me, anyway) good

Finally discovered a Minnie Mouse item I don’t want.

One more update. I'm anxiously awaiting calls to set all my appointments up. So when the phone rang and it was the hospital I was briefly relieved. Turns out it was the dietician calling to set up an appointment about the anemia and foods that cancer won't gobble up like Thanksgiving dinner.

Thank you so much to everyone who reached out, sent me well wishes and good vibes! It really means the world to me! I apologize I can't thank everyone individually. Yesterday was a whirlwind and they drew A LOT of blood! But I just wanted to say that every message lifted my spirits!

So….I have a lump on my breast. I had my first appointment today and scheduled a mammogram and a bunch of scans. Waiting to get bloodwork. Doctor feels there’s a good chance it’s benign or very very early.

Today I learned about Dolly Paprika, aka Dolly Duck: 1920s flapper and costumed hero from the Italian Disney comics. I love her!

Picked up an Action Force upgrade for Snake Eyes Movie Baroness and got TMNT Alopex.

The real crime is that we never got a Kolchak/ Columbo crossover.

I found a great deal on a bunch of incredibly rare Dragon Riders of the Styx figures. Unfortunately they have skipped quite a few leg days over the years. However, I know a guy...the guy I married!

Both continues to be good! Minnie as Evil-Lyn and Daisy as TeeLa/ The Goddess
