As a book review editor for a top academic journal I have been unimpressed with the publicity practices of this press. It stands in stark contrast to the quality of their books. It also contrasts with the excellent publicity departments at other presses.

Anyone working in American history or US law and legal studies needs to read Maggie's amazing article, which amounts to a wholesale reinterpretation of how to read and understand the Constitution itself.
It has been the greatest honor of my career to write a Foreword for the Harv Law Rev. I am grateful to be able to tell this story and tell it from the heart in such a prominent forum. As always, I dream of a day when words can change minds and hearts—and worlds: harvardlawreview.org/wp-content/u...

One of the things I’ve missed most about The Hellsite Formerly Known as Twitter has been following Rebecca Makkai and other writers. Posts like this, for example.
I asked my newsletter readers for writing advice questions, and many of them were psychological in nature: What if I hate my own writing? How can I risk rejection? How do I make myself focus on one project? How do I keep going when my life is chaos? 🧵
