I bought this little ground cover rose bush the day after Gareth passed to plant it in our garden in memory of him. This morning it started to flower and revealed its colour. 😍
Tarja and me we were just standing in the kitchen and saying how much we miss Gareth and out of nowhere appears this robin. ♥️ We haven't had robins for years in the garden. Call me silly but I do believe this is a sign and it cheered us up so much.
My first attempt of cooking "Rouladen" - Gareth loves this dish whenever we are in Germany and you can't buy it anywhere here in the UK. I think it was successful. They particularly loved the sauce, it had half a litre of red wine in it. 🙂
My first Christmas cookies are cooling down - "cream cookies" (sour cream shortbread with cinnamon sugar on top). No idea how they taste like (new recipe) but they smell heavenly!
