They had a great relationship. Mom & Dad always wanted to travel but were prevented from doing that by Dad’s last illness. My husband found out about it & made sure we got Mom to those places. (If I had suggested it, she would have said no.) Here she is with her sister at the Grand Canyon (on right)

Here’s Diva, enjoying National Pet Day on the kitchen counter. We just ran the dishwasher so it’s heated to the proper temperature.

For sure. Cats rule.

Diva appears to be napping on the heated counter (just ran the dishwasher). Of course, she could be communing with all sorts of feline spirits through vibes from the eclipse. To my limited human understanding, they appear the same.
