Personally, I am 100% morally OK with refraining from talking shit about the absolute best hopes we have for escaping the prospect of a nuclear superpower falling to violent civil conflict for just a few more months in the interest of helping them win, regardless of my own personal feelings.
I agree, but I think there is some legitimate argument that the chaos of him doing so is more damaging. I just think that argument is getting weaker and weaker every day.
I guess my point is, I wish those of us on the "Democracy is good actually" side of the aisle could agree to hold each other as acting in good faith, even when we disagree on matters such as these.
Yeah well… the left side of the political spectrum has never been THE BEST at not devouring itself.
And it doesn’t help that it sure seems like Biden campaign just rolled the fucking dice on what kind of night Biden was going to have.

I mean, to be fair, I think it's entirely plausible that the "He had a cold" retort is true ... but the fact of the matter is that if a simple cold knocks him out this badly, then that's a legitimate concern!

Like many people I’ve argued against claims that Biden was in cognitive decline, but we all saw what we saw. We don’t need to lie to ourselves with the same rhetoric.
I’m certain he should unless he and his inner circle know that there will be more Thursday nights during the campaign. But there is no perfect replacement, and the Democrats bowing to the whims of the New York Times makes me absolutely livid.
Every question about Biden should be turned back to Trump, who is under any rational analysis a hundred times more unfit for the presidency than Biden.
