Nominally The Founder was a story of how McDonalds was taken from its founders and turned into a monster franchise, but this works in reverse too I guess.
Probably not. They were gutted from the inside out to extract rent from failing restaurants. But for one bright moment, they created Tremendous Shareholder Value.
