This irks me greatly when it comes to German names in the press or even sometimes in academic papers (tsk). It's not so hard to put a lil umlaut where it needs to be is it? Furthermore, there is a helpful lil menu called Symbols in MS Word or equivalent...

It driving me nuts with the exclusion of the diacritical marks on names in the Slovinia/Serbia game. Guys, uh, we need those to know how to pronounce the names? Pretty big difference between c and č or ć????

Some kind stranger did take a pic of me and himself at the summit, but it wasn't flattering. Usually I wouldn't care, but I can only liken it to a glitch in the matrix where our true faces are trying to break out into the world through our normal faces. It was too windy to hang around, anyway.

Thinking about the person I saw climbing Pen Y Fan today wearing jeans, converse, trench coat and a cute lil handbag. No judgement from me. Wish I could pull it off tbh. Aside from the obvious problem of not dressing appropriately and safely for climbing a mountain in variable weather conditions.
