I'd be really interested in reading a commentary from climate scientists & econometrics experts about whether the data set equating historical economic impacts with climate is applicable for this type of forecast (that was my layperson's interpretation of the methodology, based on quick scan)

you should indeed be terrified if you make that prediction knowing that you won't retire before that time
