Crucially though, it says we can avoid far higher losses by 2100 if we take strong climate action

I'd be really interested in reading a commentary from climate scientists & econometrics experts about whether the data set equating historical economic impacts with climate is applicable for this type of forecast (that was my layperson's interpretation of the methodology, based on quick scan)
