Star Wars is exceptionally hard for television production: Make up, custom outfits for everyone, special effects. But the real difficulty is locations. Shows like to have a mostly a few recurring sets they set most of their scenes in. That's hard in an IP defined by planet hopping to exotic planets.

If you want to make a High Republic show on the cheap, have it set largely on one planet: Jedi establishing an outpost on an Outer Rim planet newly added to the Republic. Recurring characters and sets and you just make that planet really interesting, solid underworld, a dark history, temptations.

DS9 style. Everyone will underestimate it because it lacks the planet hopping, but make it a locus of Force currents where Jedi receive powerful visions that add variety to backgrounds, but may not require full sets.
