All woman metal band from Indonesia called Voice of Baceprot will be the first band from their country to play at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK. The trio is made up of 24 y.o. vocalist and guitarist Firda “Marsya” Kurnia, 24 y.o. drummer Euis “Siti” Aisyah and 23 y.o. bassist Widi Rahmawati.🎸

Yes! Fanny were amazing. Also, I feel like this comparison is perhaps too obvious and almost trite, but I said to my 17-year-old daughter to get her to click the link: "They are the real-life We Are Lady Parts!" The world certainly can use more hijabi rock musicians, fictional, real, all of it.
