If you, like me, don't eat fresh pineapple or kiwi because it's like eating razor blades, you might want to be more careful than I was when offered (delicious) vegan pineapple ice cream. I just took for granted it would be tinned. Result: razor blade feeling *in throat* and 10 day allergy asthma.

Saw a news item about a family setting up a fund for necessities. Item made no mention of systemic failures that constantly bring people to this point. So you're damn right I'm sharing this. Too many have to claw for rest. Or joy. Until the systems bring healing, there's zero shame healing others.

You can still use the colours if you know how to specify them on the colour palette but Pantone regularly retires colours that current printing technology doesn’t support well and their licence with Adobe means those come off the Pantone list inside Adobe apps. It’s about 3 years since the last time

A very wealthy man who is really into reducing govt spending just donated almost a million dollars to "Illinois’ only statewide advocacy organization that solely focuses on promoting charter public schools." AND HOW ARE YOU THIS MORNING?

I started painting last September, determined to spend time every day for a year, drawing and painting. On the left is one of my first paintings. The middle one is from May and the one on the right this week, and even though I can see the improvement in brush control and eye, I still love the first.
