Oh no, I missed World Eel Day? Here are some darling sand eels from Sea Life in Scheveningen (which I loved for its trilingual interpretations and strong environmental message, but which is also entirely too tiny and too dark for people with old eyes).

My partner is in a work call, and he asks if "maybe we can demonstrate something on the snow gun"? I know he programs test rigs for a heating company, but now I am convinced it's a secret ring of super villains.

I just learned that the Swedish Easter witch is traditionally depicted with coffee (and may land her broom on your roof to come down your chimney and make herself a new pot in your kitchen). I think I finally know what I want to be when I grow up.

Let’s see you at 21! I distrust these games but just this once: me in sheep camp off the Cassiar highway (near the Alaska panhandle) c.21. This is rare midday downtime—we’ve brought our 1500 sheep in for water and siesta because it’s super hot. I’ve been dunking my head in a trough to cool off :)

So what would you think if I were to hook up with 3 other internet randos I met on reddit only 2 days ago to start a paranormal podcast? It seems very likely I'll be the straight, skeptical one by quite a margin. Will this set me up for nothing but frustration or actually be fun and outreach-y?
