the most polite way i can put this is that if you can’t set aside your parasocial relationship with a celebrity accused of rape, the best thing you can do is just not post publicly. the worst thing you can do is center yourself & broadcast the conditionality of your support for survivors.
i don’t say this flippantly, i’ve been through it over & over again with pros in my industry some of whom i’ve met or known personally. it goes nowhere good to undermine or wish away allegations when they’re emotionally inconvenient to you.
