Had Assange not tried to evade Swedish justice for his sexual assault charges,
he'd have been out of jail there faster than the time he spent in hiding,
avoided British charges,
and Sweden wouldn't have turned him over to the US, which didn't have legitimate jurisdiction over his journalism.
