But Project 2025 is run by Trump's closest aides, raising concerns about cognitive fitness for a candidate who seems unable to recall those around him.

I believe it's only exhausting if you assume he's actually capable of not lying and you've got a gambler's addictive belief that he's eventually going to tell the truth about something...anything.
betting against him telling the truth is a bet I’ll take every time.
But it’s almost as if it doesn’t matter. Media is basically, “yeah, he lies all the time. What are ya gonna do?”
I've thought about that, too. Take the debate. Trump was non-stop lies. Oh, that's just Trump being Trump. Biden falters, delivering nothing like in his State of the Union address. His shift disturbs us, but Trump's utter consistency, as bad as it is, makes no waves. No waves; no news.
