She probably HAS received a great number of criticisms which he has willfully misread as threats (e.g. like David Tennant's recent comments)

sure but i doubt she's received even all that many "i hope a bad thing happens to you" which is not actually a threat

By "activists" she probably means Xhitter accounts.
