Nah, fucking up the external AC is a nice low risk way to intervene. Practice good tradecraft!

Generally the a/c vents to outside in a semi-secure compound, easier to access than the server room buildings. And AC futzing is closer to letting tyres down, more denial of service (ha) less destruction of kit.
