I get the whole "Immunity is the One Ring, if Biden uses it he'll be corrupted" but even on the level of metaphor...
Whenever Frodo knew he was gonna die, he used the ring to get outta there and then took it off.
He basically prairie dogged that ring until he could destroy it for good.
