Everyone talked about price parity with EVs and gas. I guess they figured out they could make gas cars expensive easier than making EVs cheaper

Are they also limiting it to top trim levels? Here it's only available as a Sport or Sport Touring.

I'm sure that makes sense margins-wise, but an LX Hybrid is what we really need.

Is that a Canada thing? Because in the U.S., it undercuts the GLI by about $900 (plus, I'd take a Civic over a Jetta every day of the week even if the Honda was a little more).

Also, based on my 10th-gen, I'd risk some VW reliability to get away from the new Honda interior quality

the rear-view mirror in my civic failed about a week out of warranty. THE MIRROR! (the glass delaminated). The entire interior looked worse after 3 years/25k miles than my 8th gen did at 10 years/220k

YIKES. My 8th-generation Civic's interior was fantastic.
