The presidential immunity case this morning should be galvanizing and should shut all of the "replace Biden" people the fuck up. We *have* to stop Trump, especially a Trump who will have been let entirely off the leash by this decision, and he's the vehicle we have. Don't like it? Don't care.
I really have lost my former tolerance for "we're doomed/fucked/it's all over/they've won" takes at this point, in that they're the most dangerous attitudes one could possibly have when confronted with a truly existential political threat (which we still DO have levers to address).
Wavering about what path we're on takes our precious time and energy from clearing the one we're already walking. Get on board. Do it now. Do it with your whole chest. It matters. Now's the time.
Think about how bad Trump was as president. Think about how bad he'd be as president again. Now think about all of that if he had this immunity decision under his belt. Keep that in your head and do everything you can to stop it.
