Is it possible the $500 a month is to recoup the total cost of your groceries, water, electricity, sewer, cell phone, laundry, cable, gas, car payment, car insurance, registration, license, medicine, therapy and/or your Mom's Patreon contribution? Will your partner also be paying them $500?

Encourage him to get his meds adjusted pronto. Make the call or appt for him if he won't. Once he has an effective med, motivation will improve & he'll find a job (unless he's lying about applying or self-sabotaging interviews). He'll be much easier to be around & have income if you decide break up.

Poor sleep and zero motivation are symptoms of untreated depression.
