New Viz: Superstore with TARGETS! I always wished Superstore included targets...but now it does! I created a version with targets and created a viz for a very specific use case. Check out the details at the top and check out the viz here: Link: public.tableau.com/app/profile/...

New Blog Post: In a recent Bootcamp, Ken was showing sorting options when a client (with Tableau experience) said, "I always choose 'Nested', but you chose to sort on a 'Field', what's the difference?" Well, neither of us really knew - but do now. www.flerlagetwins.com/2024/01/Nest...

A late #MakeoverMonday about what animals are unacceptable to eat. I’m honestly not sure if I love this chart. It certainly takes a bit of cognitive load to process. What are your thoughts? @VizWithIrene @DatavizChimdi @Tableau_Picasso Link: public.tableau.com/app/profile/...

New Blog This is a problem that I encounter often, a line chart is consistent and then has a change, but on a scale including 0, those changes barely show (#1 below). So do we NOT include zero? Well, I think that's worse (#2). So how do we handle this? Link: www.flerlagetwins.com/2024/02/do-i...

Tableau Tip I'd say about 25% of the time, when I show this to people, they had no clue you could do it. Rather than left-click & drag, if you right-click & drag, it will automatically give you a context menu to choose your aggregation type. See #4: www.flerlagetwins.com/2021/08/Ten-...
