It crushes me bc CfA has genuine interest in serving the public good. Deloitte sat down to plot voter disenfranchisement with Republicans before CA handed them the keys to our social services and it’s as bad as I anticipated.

Deloitte breaks everything they touch. They are the problem, never the solution. CfA is doing good work for the right reasons. I’m gutted that their SNAP app is going away.

I think it has more to do with every state's computer system and databases being completely different. State policies differ too, especially for Medicaid. And those orgs I listed have an incentive to pursue separate contracts with every state instead of building one solution for all.
