So they approved the medicine, but denied the number of times I take it—regardless of the dose each time. So it’s not the cost/amt of the medicine they’re balking at (thousands of $/month), but the *number of syringes*. Really doing their part to keep health costs down there.
Every time I talk to insurance about this they contradict themselves and all known logic. It’s upside down logic seen through an infinite series of funhouse mirrors.

Extremely uncool of them. We need a much better system.

It took HOURS of phone calls over 6 weeks to sort this out! System built on cognitive dissonance and deliberate frustration.

I have a friend who takes a prescribed narcotic (does not abuse it). EVERY time he needs to refill his prescription it’s a hassle and a half.
