This #Caturday I have welcomed at home Peggy G., a #feral girl who will have here a safe place to deliver her babies. Unfortunately this is a teen pregnancy, that is problematic for cats as it is for humans. Fortunately she was #rescued and she will be pampered in the next weeks!

#Caturday greetings from Geneva! I could not get a better workshop for me than the “Schrödinger’s Cosmic Cat” where I got a chance to speak about how to do cosmology relationally and foamy, and I could even show some pictures of my foster kittens in the talk 😸

Our international biennial conference is hosted this time at @FloridaAtlantic, many thanks to Jon Engle and Muxin Han for organizing such a big exciting conference, including parallel sessions and social events!
I look with emotion at the white helmets of the students standing in front of armed police, it reminds me of the “tute bianche” we used to represent the invisible people while demonstrating against the global permanent war and for another possible world a quarter of century ago.

This week was graduation time in our group at @westernuPhysAst: Farshid Soltani was commended by the committee for the thesis, great deeds await him ahead - starting with a postdoc in the @UniWarszawski LQG group where he will continue develop his research on black/white holes!

This #Cartuday it was just me and Bobbie McGee. That’s a rare picture in daylight, she is a total night owl. She is specialized in deep diving into couches, she can get inside any couch structure and stay for hours. Not so much of company but she is lovely when she emerges back. #purrfect#catrescue
