It's absolutely early aughts tbh yolo swag culture is hilarious in retrospect but undoubtedly the most tasteless, gauche, gaudy shit

2000s hands down. Terrible style, terrible music, rise of shallow edgy comedies and hollow political criticism.

2010s maybe? god every song was like a dance tune but without any of the fun of an actual dance party. it was music that *reminded* u that u could be partying while u were doing anything but having fun. and the endless arena rock nonsense too (imagine dragons)
