It was so hot today that a tire on one of our tractors exploded while it was parked. We hit 115 degrees.

Massa Organics Farm | Almonds and Rice | Chico, Californiamassaorganics.com We sell healthy, delicious organic almonds and medium-grain brown rice direct from our family farm in the fertile Sacramento Valley.

The edge of our farm is an abandoned railroad. We've been planting native trees and shrubs on it for 25 years. Today I stood in one spot and recorded 21 bird species in just 10 minutes! This is one of my proudest accomplishments as a farmer.
