Spot on! the cat is quite clumsy because her tail was amputated when she was rescued as a stray.

The funniest artifact of dogs having been domesticated so much longer is that they seem to recognize that we are not dogs, and have developed ways to deal with that. Cats, on the other hand, seem to think we’re somehow defective cats.
