Another great visit from Millom School. We made up an "Ecology Ratch" ©️™️ activity (which you can only play in Cumbria), found an old nest, put up a nest box, set up a trail cam & saw an adder. Thanks to @Alpkit for helping with funding. #nature #ecology #birds #adders 🌎🌳🌱🐍🐦‍⬛

Looking forward to a visit from Millom School tomorrow after we ran a session looking at the trees in the school grounds last week. We'll also see what's on the camera trap we put up & set one up at Hardknott.

At our first day setting up the new nursery the main task was potting up 100's of juniper seedlings kindly donated by Wild Haweswater. Another highlight was the expert guidance from top horticulturalist Julia. Guess how many we got done!!
