One of the most annoying things about making music is that- music is for children. It's made by kids, for kids, and if you're an adult still doing it, you're in this weird position where you're trying to appeal to children. It's a fool's errand! Kids don't care about adults.
I came upon a playlist of goth/industrial's top streams of this year, and it was just troubling how narrow the parameters of that particular genre truly are. Worse than metal, tbh.
I feel like the whole point of the Rock Documentary is to craft a polemic in favor of its subject. And I think this one nails that goal: buy.couldntyouwait.com
