It’s some old fashioned fun that Cypress Hill is finally making a 1996 Simpsons joke into a reality. HOWEVER, intentionally recreating a scene from the show IRL is the exact opposite of “Simpsons predicted it!” Entertainment journalists, stop doing these garbage headlines!!

More fun pictures from my LA adventure: Went to The Tam O’Shanter for the first time. The restaurant where Walt Disney ate a lot of beef and drank a lot of whiskey. Got the turkey plate and ate it with friends adjacent to Walt’s table in the fourth pic you see

Headed home after a 12 day vacation/work trip. Even got to see my lovely extended family this weekend. Check out my mom’s cool garden. Some cool podcast stuff from it will be revealed in the future, but it was a whirlwind of fun and wonderful memories seeing so many cool people!

Day 2 at Universal Hollywood, Toadstool Cafe took an hour, but the Lemon Squash soda little cake were cute (as were the decorations)

Met some new friends today, they really like my shirt for some reason

Also seen on the tour was the Warner Animation History wall that gives more representation to Tiny Toons than I would’ve expected. You can also buy a $900 cel from a forgettable ‘90s commercial of the Looney Tunes presenting merchandise (I passed on it)

Some more cool stuff from my Warner Bros Studio Tour: One room had a smattering of WB animation history, including old Hanna-Barbera, the Spielberg shows, DCAU, and Iron Giant. Even some vintage Toon Squad gear worn by Michael Jordan (though where’s Cartoon Network shows?)

Had a fun start to a podcast-y day in LA. Stay tuned to listen to this guest appearance I just recorded

Another fun LA day, went on the Warner Bros Studios tour for the first time. Lots of random Hollywood history I learned today. My favorite was that this random alley is in many films. It’s where Prince did the cover of Purple Rain *and* where Spider-Man got kissed upside down!

Had another great day on my LA vacation. Went to the Academy Museum, tons of cool stuff there. The temporary exhibit of John Waters is fantastic. Costumes from his films, some of his awards, even a cel from his iconic episode of The Simpsons!

Went to the La Brea Tar Pits today. I thought I saw Stampy there, but it was only a model. Oh well, maybe next time

Happy birthday to my wonderful husband! We celebrated with a trip to Disneyland for Pride Nite, which featured Clarabelle Cow as the most beloved character in the park!
