A decent-sized haul from the comics shop this week for #NCBD! Jason Aaron's Infinity Dime special was a breezy bit of fun. But I sure hope Marvel has more planned for the Disney Ducks than multiverse shenanigans and What if... Daisy Duck was Spider-Gwen variant covers....

Listening to an old favorite today. Always dug the sequencing on this album, particularly the sneaky repurposed bit we hear just after Battle in the Snow ends and before the familiar Imperial March fades up.
I’m a lifelong Spider-Man and Batman reader/collector, and these two Avengers books are the only ones I’m looking forward to reading from today's NCBD haul.

Haul photos from the annual sale at Eides. Went Sunday with my brother, who always inspires/badgers me to dive deeper in the bins. He found an Adam Hughes issue of Amazing Heroes I'd been trying to hunt down for damn near 30 years. It's one of the few Indiana Jones comics I didn't already own.

#NCBD grabs. Not a Miles fan but I'm happy to see Greg Weisman writing the wall-crawler again. Gonna have to force myself to catch up on Batman. "Zurr-En-Arrh" is the sound my eyeballs make when they roll backwards.
#NCBD grabs. I'm still on the fence with the new Ultimate Spider-Man. It's been widely praised, but comes off like Hickman stripped all the grief and regret from the lore and replaced it with midlife self-empowerment. But...if he's building up to a twist, it's gonna be brutal.
Dollar bin finds. I have the trade from IDW of the 1980s DC Mirror Universe story arc... but the way I see it, I've got no choice now but to grab the whole run after finding these top shape newsstand issues at @Eide's this morning.
