Amazing discourse coming out of that conference. Folks who refuse to mask to protect others screaming bloody murder bc someone didn’t take precautions to protect *them*.
When they don’t feel at risk it’s nbd but when they do feel at risk suddenly it’s a huge deal.

People are generally cool but the few times I’ve had crappy comments on my mask I say “it’s [funny/neat/sweet/cute] that you think it’s ::heavy cough:: for me”
I’m not going to change their mind and make them care about anybody but themselves, but at least they tend to back away and leave me alone.
