Tord Gustavsen Trio and ‘The Other Side’ (2018), another amazingly atmospheric album, dripping with melody and captivating compositions. Only came across his music in the last year or so, and need to explore further and deeper 🕳️🐇

Yazz Ahmed ‘La Saboteuse’ a fantastic album, fusing modern jazz with all sorts of flavours and influences to complete a modern classic 😎✅

Ascendant (Chris Bryant and Don Tyler) with ‘Starfall’ (2024) on the Synthaera label. Dream like synth waves reaching to the outer limits of space 🚀

Henry Spencer ‘The Defector’ (2023) quality modern jazz, with a big soundstage to suit 😎👍

Now listening, early Sunday morning vibes, Mr Soord with 'Luminescence' (2023), absolutely gorgeous album and his best solo effort for me. The last Pineapple Thief album earlier this year was amazing too. On good form 😎👌

Mark Guiliana and ‘Mark’ (2024), just released and fascinating stuff. Completely personal to the point of being free from any real classification/genre-fying which is no bad thing. Could be anything and everything. Artist following their instinct, liking this lots 😎👍

Seeing the blu-ray player is warmed up, currently playing hi-res dark-side mix, and just superb. Last I played this I read the tour programme which helped bring it even more to life if that’s possible. Hoping some live a/v release to come at some point from the tour 😎✅

Waited a while for this one to arrive, Max Cooper, ‘Unspoken Words’ (2022), Blu-Ray and CD version. Visuals created for the music are stunning here, currently playing this HD and Hi-Res (24/48). Next time darken out the room for even more drama 😎👍
